Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026

The Workshop (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information through theworkshoput.com, our founding-member interest list, and our online account and reservation services as they become available.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, ZIP code, preferred membership tier, interests, project information, inquiries, and communications. When account and reservation features are available, we may also process account identifiers, authentication information, reservation selections, consent acknowledgments, timestamps, and confirmation records. Our website and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, cookies, session identifiers, and security logs.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, manage founding-member interest, communicate about The Workshop’s development and opening, understand demand for equipment and training, administer accounts and reservations, maintain consent records, prevent fraud, protect our systems, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Joining the founding-member interest list does not constitute purchasing or activating a membership.

3. Reservations and Payment Information

The Workshop is in its pre-opening development phase. When authenticated pre-opening reservations become available, they are intended to require $0 due at reservation. Submitting an interest form or completing a $0 reservation does not authorize a charge or activate a paid membership.

The Workshop will not begin collecting membership payments until the physical facility is operational, affected members have been notified, and payment collection has been separately authorized and enabled. If future payment services become available, applicable payment terms and authorizations will be presented before a charge is initiated.

4. Service Providers and Information Sharing

We use service providers to operate our website and business systems, including Cloudflare for website infrastructure, HubSpot for contact management, Clerk for authentication, and Stripe for future payment-processing capabilities. These providers may process information necessary to perform their services.

The Workshop does not currently sell personal information or share it with third parties for their independent advertising or targeted marketing purposes. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect our systems or users, or in connection with a lawful business transaction.

5. Cookies and Website Technologies

Our website and service providers may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, session management, and essential website functionality. We do not currently use personal information for third-party advertising or targeted marketing. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notices or choices required by law.

6. Communications

We may contact you regarding your inquiry, founding-member interest, reservations, opening announcements, or related services. Where applicable, marketing communications will include an unsubscribe option. Necessary account, security, or reservation communications may still be sent.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining account and reservation records, documenting consent, supporting security, and meeting applicable legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the systems in which it is stored. We review deletion requests and remove information when appropriate, subject to legitimate operational, security, and legal retention requirements.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. We will review requests, verify identity where appropriate, and respond in accordance with applicable law. Certain records may need to be retained for lawful or legitimate operational purposes.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our online founding-member interest and reservation services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13 through these services. Any future youth educational programs may have separate parental-consent and participation requirements.

11. External Links

Our website may contain links to external websites or services. Those organizations maintain their own privacy practices, which we encourage visitors to review.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve. Revisions will be posted with an updated effective date, and additional notice will be provided when legally required.
